The borders of the land
The Lord spoke to Moses: 'Tell the Israelites: When you enter the land of Canaan, this is the land that will fall to you as an inheritance — the land of Canaan within its borders.' Then your south side will be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom. And your south border will be the edge of the Salt Sea eastward. And your border will turn from the south to the going up of Akrabbim and go on to Zin. And it will go out from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and go on to Hazaraddar and go over to Azmon. The border will turn about from Azmon to the wadi of Egypt, and its ends will be at the sea. And as for the western border, you will have the Great Sea for a border. This will be your western border. And this will be your north border: from the Great Sea you will mark out for yourselves Mount Hor. From Mount Hor you will mark out your border to the entrance of Hamath. And the ends of the border will be at Zedad. The border will go on to Ziphron, and its ends will be at Hazarenan. This will be your north border. And you will mark out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham. The border will go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain. And the border will go down and reach to the side of the Sea of Chinnereth eastward. The border will go down to the Jordan, and its ends will be at the Salt Sea. This will be your land with its borders around.

The men who'll divide it

The two tribes and the half tribe have their inheritance on this side of the Jordan near Jericho eastward, towards the sunrise.
