Aaron's staff buds
The Lord spoke to Moses: 'Speak to the Israelites and take a rod from each tribe, one from every prince according to their ancestral houses — twelve rods. Write each man's name on his rod.' 'Write Aaron's name on the rod of Levi, because there is to be one rod for the head of each ancestral house.' 'Lay them in the tent of meeting before the testimony, where I meet with you.' 'The rod belonging to the man I choose will blossom. That will put an end to the Israelites' complaints against me, which they keep making against you.' Moses spoke to the Israelites, and each of their princes gave him a rod, one for each ancestral house — twelve rods in all. Aaron's rod was among them. Moses laid the rods before the Lord in the tent of witness. The next day Moses went into the tent of witness, and Aaron's rod for the house of Levi had budded. It had brought out buds, produced blossoms and yielded almonds. Moses brought all the rods out from before the Lord to all the Israelites. They looked, and each man took his rod. The Lord said to Moses, 'Put Aaron's rod back before the testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels. This will bring their complaints to an end before me, so they do not die.' Moses did so. He did just as the Lord commanded him. The Israelites said to Moses, 'We are finished! We are dying! We are all dying!' 'Anyone who even comes near the Lord's tent dies. Are we all going to be consumed?'
And the Lord spoke to Moses: Speak to the people of Israel and take a staff from each of them, according to the house of their fathers, from all their leaders according to the house of their fathers, twelve staffs. Write every man's name on his staff. And you'll write Aaron's name on the staff of Levi. Because there'll be one staff for the head of the house of their fathers. And you'll lay them up in the tent of meeting in front of the testimony, where I meet with you. And the staff of the man I choose will bud. And I'll make the grumbling of the people of Israel stop, that they grumble against you. And Moses spoke to the people of Israel. And every one of their leaders gave him a staff each, one for each leader, according to the houses of their fathers, twelve staffs. And the staff of Aaron was among their staffs. And Moses laid up the staffs in front of the Lord in the tent of the testimony. And the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony. And there was the staff of Aaron for the house of Levi, budded and put out buds and blossomed and given almonds. And Moses brought out all the staffs from in front of the Lord to all the people of Israel. And they looked, and every man took his staff. And the Lord said to Moses: Bring Aaron's staff back in front of the testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels. And you'll take away their grumbling from me, so they don't die. And Moses did that. The way the Lord ordered him, that's what he did. And the people of Israel spoke to Moses: Look — we're dying, we're gone, we're all gone. Whoever comes anywhere near the tent of the Lord will die. Are we all going to be finished off?

And it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you. And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods. And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness. And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod. And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron’s rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not. And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he. And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish. Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?

And the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony. And there was the staff of Aaron for the house of Levi, budded and put out buds and blossomed and given almonds.
And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
Moses brought all the rods out from before the Lord to all the Israelites. They looked, and each man took his rod.
And Moses brought out all the staffs from in front of the Lord to all the people of Israel. And they looked, and every man took his staff.
And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.
The Lord said to Moses, 'Put Aaron's rod back before the testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels. This will bring their complaints to an end before me, so they do not die.'
And the Lord said to Moses: Bring Aaron's staff back in front of the testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels. And you'll take away their grumbling from me, so they don't die.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron’s rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
Moses did so. He did just as the Lord commanded him.
And Moses did that. The way the Lord ordered him, that's what he did.
And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.
The Israelites said to Moses, 'We are finished! We are dying! We are all dying!'
And the people of Israel spoke to Moses: Look — we're dying, we're gone, we're all gone.
And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.
'Anyone who even comes near the Lord's tent dies. Are we all going to be consumed?'
Whoever comes anywhere near the tent of the Lord will die. Are we all going to be finished off?
Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
