The workers in the vineyard
Because the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. He agreed with the workers on a day's pay and sent them into his vineyard. And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, and he said to them, You go into the vineyard too, and I will pay you whatever is right. And off they went. Again he went out about the sixth hour and the ninth, and did the same. And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, Why have you been standing here all day doing nothing? They said to him, Because nobody has hired us. He said to them, You go into the vineyard too, and you will get whatever is right. So when evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, Call the workers and pay them their wages, starting from the last and going on to the first. When those hired around the eleventh hour came, each of them received a full day's pay. When the first workers came, they expected to get more, but they received the same day's pay. And when they had got it they grumbled against the landowner, saying, These last men have worked one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden and the heat of the day. But he answered one of them, Friend, I'm not doing you wrong. Didn't you agree to a day's pay? Take what is yours and go your way. I want to give this last man the same as you. Isn't it lawful for me to do what I like with my own? Or is your eye evil because I am good? So the last will be first, and the first last. Because many are called, but few are chosen.

Going up to Jerusalem
And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death, and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. And on the third day he will rise again.
And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart on the way and said to them: Look — we go up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and to the scribes. And they'll condemn him to death. And will hand him over to the nations to make fun of and to whip and to crucify. Can you drink the cup I am going to drink, and be baptised with the baptism I am baptised with? They said to him, We can. And he said to them, You will indeed drink my cup, and be baptised with the baptism I am baptised with. But to sit at my right hand and at my left isn't mine to give. It will be given to those it has been prepared for by my Father. And when the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers. But Jesus called them to him and said, You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great men throw their weight about. It won't be like that among you. Whoever wants to be great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever wants to be first among you, let him be your slave. Just as the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

The way the Son of Man didn't come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for plenty.

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Two blind men
And as they left Jericho, a great crowd followed him. And two blind men were sitting by the roadside. And when they heard that Jesus was going by, they cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David. And the crowd told them off and said they should be quiet. But they cried out all the more, saying, Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David. And Jesus stopped and called them, and said, What do you want me to do for you? They said to him, Lord, let our eyes be opened. So Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. And straight away their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
And as they left Jericho, plenty of people followed him. And look — two blind men sitting by the wayside, when they heard Jesus went past, cried out: Have pity on us, Lord, Son of David. And the crowd told them off, so they'd hold their peace. But they cried out the more: Have pity on us, Lord, Son of David. And Jesus stood still and called them: What do you want me to do for you? They say to him: Lord, that our eyes can be opened. So Jesus had pity on them and touched their eyes. And straight away their eyes got sight, and they followed him.
