Who's the greatest?
At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child to him and set him in the middle of them, and said, I tell you the truth, unless you turn and become like little children, you won't enter the kingdom of heaven at all. So whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me. But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble — it would be better for him to have a millstone hung round his neck and be drowned in the depth of the sea. Trouble is coming to the world because of the things that make men stumble. Because such things must come. But trouble is coming to that man by whom they come. So if your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to go into life crippled or maimed than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into everlasting fire. And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away. It is better for you to go into life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell fire. Take care that you don't look down on one of these little ones. Because I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. Because the Son of man has come to save what was lost.

In the same way it isn't the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

A brother who sins
And if your brother sins against you, go and point out his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother. But if he won't listen, take one or two others with you, so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses to listen to the church, treat him like an outsider and a tax collector. I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. Because where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them.

The unforgiving servant
Then Peter came to him and said, Lord, how often will my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, I don't say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. So the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. And when he had begun to settle them, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But since he had nothing to pay with, his lord ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and everything he had, and payment to be made. So the servant fell down and bowed before him, saying, Lord, be patient with me, and I will pay you everything. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and let him go, and forgave him the debt. But that same servant went out and found a fellow servant who owed him a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him by the throat and said, Pay me what you owe. And his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, Be patient with me, and I will pay you everything. And he wouldn't. He went and had him thrown into prison until he should pay the debt. So when his fellow servants saw what had been done they were very sorry, and came and told their lord everything that had happened. Then his lord called him in and said to him, You wicked servant. I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Shouldn't you have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you? And his lord was angry and handed him over to the jailers, until he should pay everything that was due. That is what my heavenly Father will do to you as well, if each of you doesn't forgive his brother from his heart.

That is what my heavenly Father will do to you as well, if each of you doesn't forgive his brother from his heart.

So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
