The Lord spoke to Moses: Speak to the Israelites: If a woman has conceived and had a boy, then she will be unclean seven days, the same as the days of her being set apart for her sickness she will be unclean. And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin will be circumcised. She will go on in the blood of her cleansing thirty-three days. She must not touch any holy thing or come into the sanctuary till the days of her cleansing are finished. But if she has a girl, then she will be unclean two weeks, the same as when she's set apart. And she will go on in the blood of her cleansing sixty-six days. When the days of her cleansing are finished, for a son or for a daughter, she will bring a lamb a year old for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering, to the door of the tent of meeting, to the priest. He will offer it before the Lord and make atonement for her, and she will be made clean from the flow of her blood. This is the teaching for the one who's had a boy or a girl. If she can't afford a lamb, then she will bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons — one for the burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. And the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.

And the Lord spoke to Moses: Speak to the people of Israel: If a woman has conceived and had a boy, then she'll be unclean seven days, the same as the days of her being set apart for her sickness she'll be unclean. And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin will be circumcised. And she'll go on in the blood of her cleansing thirty-three days. She won't touch any holy thing or come into the holy place till the days of her cleansing are finished. But if she has a girl, then she'll be unclean two weeks, the same as when she's set apart. And she'll go on in the blood of her cleansing sixty-six days. And when the days of her cleansing are finished, for a son or for a daughter, she'll bring a lamb a year old for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering, to the door of the tent of meeting, to the priest. And he'll offer it in front of the Lord and cover over for her, and she'll be made clean from the flow of her blood. This is the teaching for the one who's had a boy or a girl. And if she can't afford a lamb, then she'll bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons — one for the burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. And the priest will cover over for her, and she'll be clean.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean. And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days. And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest: Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female. And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
