You're telling a lie
And when Jeremiah had finished telling all the people all the words of the LORD their God, everything the LORD their God had sent him to tell them — all these words — Then Azariah son of Hoshaiah and Johanan son of Kareah and all the proud men said to Jeremiah: You're telling a lie. But Johanan son of Kareah and all the army commanders took all the survivors of Judah who'd come back from all the nations they'd been driven to, to live in the land of Judah — The men and the women and the children and the king's daughters and everyone Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah son of Ahikam son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch son of Neriah — And they went into the land of Egypt, because they didn't listen to the voice of the LORD. And they came to Tahpanhes.

So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah. So they came into the land of Egypt: for they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: thus came they even to Tahpanhes.

Then the LORD spoke to Jeremiah at Tahpanhes: Take some big stones in your hand and hide them in the clay in the brick pavement at the entrance of Pharaoh's house at Tahpanhes, with the men of Judah watching. Tell them, “This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will send for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, my servant, and set his throne on these stones I have hidden. He will spread his royal pavilion over them. And he'll come and strike the land of Egypt, and hand over whoever's for death to death, whoever's for captivity to captivity, and whoever's for the sword to the sword. And I'll light a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt, and he'll burn them and carry them off. And he'll wrap himself in the land of Egypt the way a shepherd wraps himself in his cloak, and he'll go out of there in peace. He'll break the pillars of Beth Shemesh in the land of Egypt, and he'll burn the houses of the gods of Egypt with fire.

And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace. He shall break also the images of Bethshemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire.

Tell them, “This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will send for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, my servant, and set his throne on these stones I have hidden. He will spread his royal pavilion over them.
And tell them: This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says. Look — I'll send and get Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon my servant, and I'll set his throne on these stones I've hidden. And he'll spread his royal canopy over them.
And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
And he'll come and strike the land of Egypt, and hand over whoever's for death to death, whoever's for captivity to captivity, and whoever's for the sword to the sword.
And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, and deliver such as are for death to death; and such as are for captivity to captivity; and such as are for the sword to the sword.
