Greater than Moses
So holy brothers, who share in a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus. He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all his house. But this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house has more honour than the house. Because every house is built by someone, and the one who built everything is God. And Moses was faithful in all his house as a servant, as a witness to the things that would be spoken later. But Christ was faithful as a son over his own house. And we are his house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and to the hope we are proud of, right to the end.
So, holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, think about the Apostle and High Priest of what we own up to, Christ Jesus. Who was faithful to the one who set him up, the way Moses was too in all his house. Because this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, in as much as the one who's built the house has more honour than the house. Because every house is built by some man. But the one who built everything is God. And Moses truly was faithful in all his house as a servant, as a witness of the things to be spoken after. But Christ as a son over his own house — whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the celebrating of the hope firm right to the end.

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all his house.
Who was faithful to the one who set him up, the way Moses was too in all his house.
Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
But this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house has more honour than the house.
Because this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, in as much as the one who's built the house has more honour than the house.
For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
Because every house is built by someone, and the one who built everything is God.
Because every house is built by some man. But the one who built everything is God.
For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
And Moses was faithful in all his house as a servant, as a witness to the things that would be spoken later.
And Moses truly was faithful in all his house as a servant, as a witness of the things to be spoken after.
And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
But Christ was faithful as a son over his own house. And we are his house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and to the hope we are proud of, right to the end.
But Christ as a son over his own house — whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the celebrating of the hope firm right to the end.
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Don't harden your hearts
So as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you will hear his voice, don't harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, in the day of testing in the wilderness, where your fathers put me to the test and tried me, and saw my works for forty years. That is why I was angry with that generation, and said, They always go astray in their hearts, and they haven't known my ways. So I swore in my anger, They will never enter my rest. Watch out, brothers, in case there is in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, while it is still called Today, so that none of you is hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Because we have come to share in Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end. As it is said: Today, if you will hear his voice, don't harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion. Because some, when they had heard, did rebel — but not all who came out of Egypt by Moses. And who was he angry with for forty years? Wasn't it those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did he swear they would never enter his rest, if not to those who wouldn't believe? So we see that they couldn't get in because of unbelief.

Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
where your fathers put me to the test and tried me, and saw my works for forty years.
When your fathers tested me, proved me and saw my works forty years.
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
That is why I was angry with that generation, and said, They always go astray in their hearts, and they haven't known my ways.
So I was grieved with that generation and said: They always go wrong in their heart, and they haven't known my ways.
Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
So I swore in my anger, They will never enter my rest.
So I swore in my anger: They won't go into my rest.)
So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
Watch out, brothers, in case there is in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
Watch out, brothers, in case there's in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in turning away from the living God.
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
But encourage one another daily, while it is still called Today, so that none of you is hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
But push each other on daily, while it's called Today — in case any of you is hardened through the deceiving of sin.
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Because we have come to share in Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end.
Because we're made partakers of Christ, if we hold the start of our confidence firm right to the end.
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
As it is said: Today, if you will hear his voice, don't harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.
While it's said: Today, if you'll hear his voice, don't harden your hearts, as in the stirring up.
While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
Because some, when they had heard, did rebel — but not all who came out of Egypt by Moses.
Because some, when they'd heard, did stir him up. But not all who came out of Egypt by Moses.
For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
And who was he angry with for forty years? Wasn't it those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
But who was he grieved with forty years? Wasn't it with the ones who'd sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
And to whom did he swear they would never enter his rest, if not to those who wouldn't believe?
And to who did he swear they wouldn't go into his rest, but to the ones who didn't believe?
And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
So we see that they couldn't get in because of unbelief.
So we see they couldn't go in because of unbelief.
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
