The covenant and the bow
And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them: Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And every animal on the earth and every bird in the sky, everything that moves on the ground and all the fish in the sea, will go in fear and dread of you. They're handed over into your hands. Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you all things. But don't eat flesh with the life in it, that is, the blood. And I'll want the blood of your lives back. From every animal I'll want it, and from man. From every man's brother I'll want the life of man back. Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood will be shed. Because God made man in his own image. And you — be fruitful and multiply. Bring forth abundantly on the earth and multiply in it. And God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him: And look — I'm setting up my covenant with you and with your offspring after you. And with every living thing with you — the birds, the stock and every wild animal of the earth with you, everything that came out of the ark, every animal of the earth. And I'll set up my covenant with you. Never again will all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood. And there won't ever be a flood again to wreck the earth. And God said: This is the sign of the covenant I'm making between me and you and every living thing with you, for all generations to come. I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it'll be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. And when I bring a cloud over the earth and the rainbow shows in the cloud, I'll remember my covenant between me and you and every living thing of all flesh. And the waters won't turn into a flood again to wreck all flesh. And the rainbow will be in the cloud, and I'll look at it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living thing of all flesh on the earth. And God said to Noah: This is the sign of the covenant I've set up between me and all flesh on the earth.
And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them: Be fruitful and grow to be many and fill the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you will be on every animal of the earth and on every bird of the sky, on everything that moves on the earth and on all the fish of the sea. They're handed over into your hand. Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. The way I gave you the green plant, I've given you everything. But flesh with the life of it, that's the blood of it, you won't eat. And I'll definitely want your blood of your lives. At the hand of every animal I'll want it, and at the hand of man. At the hand of every man's brother I'll want the life of man. Whoever spills man's blood, by man his blood will be spilt. Because God made man in his own image. And you — be fruitful and grow to be many. Bring out plenty in the earth and grow to be many in it. And God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him: And look — I'll set up my covenant with you and with your offspring after you, and with every living thing that's with you, of birds, of cattle and of every animal of the earth with you, from everything that goes out of the ark, to every animal of the earth. And I'll set up my covenant with you. All flesh won't be cut off any more by the waters of a flood, and there won't be a flood any more to wreck the earth. And God said: This is the sign of the covenant I'm making between me and you and every living thing that's with you, for generations forever. I set my bow in the cloud, and it'll be a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. And when I bring a cloud over the earth, then the bow will be seen in the cloud. And I'll remember my covenant that's between me and you and every living thing of all flesh. And the waters won't be a flood any more to wreck all flesh. And the bow will be in the cloud. And I'll look at it, so I remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living thing of all flesh that's on the earth. And God said to Noah: This is the sign of the covenant I've set up between me and all flesh that's on the earth.
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

Noah's vineyard
And the sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. And Ham was Canaan's father. These three were the sons of Noah, and the whole earth was peopled out of them. And Noah turned his hand to the land and put in a vineyard. And he drank the wine and got himself properly drunk, and was lying there in his tent with nothing on. And Ham, the father of Canaan, walked in on his father lying there with nothing on, and went out and told his two brothers. And Shem and Japheth took a cloak and laid it over both their shoulders and walked in backwards and covered their father. They had their faces turned the other way, so they never saw him lying there. And Noah came to out of his wine and worked out what his youngest son had done to him. And he said: Cursed be Canaan. He'll be the lowest of servants to his brothers. And he said: Blessed be the Lord God of Shem. And let Canaan be his servant. God make Japheth spread out, and let him live in the tents of Shem. And let Canaan be his servant. And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years. And he died.
And the sons of Noah who went out of the ark were Shem and Ham and Japheth. And Ham is the father of Canaan. These three were the sons of Noah. And the whole earth was spread out from them. And Noah started to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard. And he drank of the wine and got drunk, and he was uncovered inside his tent. And Ham the father of Canaan saw the nakedness of his father and told his two brothers outside. And Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it on both their shoulders and went backward and covered the nakedness of their father. And their faces were backward, and they didn't see their father's nakedness. And Noah woke from his wine and knew what his younger son had done to him. And he said: Cursed be Canaan. He'll be a servant of servants to his brothers. And he said: Blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and let Canaan be his servant. God will make Japheth big, and he'll live in the tents of Shem. And let Canaan be his servant. And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years. And he died.
