Japheth

This is the record of the sons of Noah — Shem, Ham and Japheth — and the sons born to them after the flood. Japheth's sons: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras. Gomer's sons: Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah. Javan's sons: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites and the Rodanites. From these the coastal peoples spread out into their own countries, each with its own language, by clan, within their nations.

Nimrod

Cush was also the father of Nimrod, who grew into a mighty man on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord. That's where the saying comes from: “like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord”. His kingdom started at Babel, Erech, Akkad and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. Out of that land he went into Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir and Calah, and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah. That's the great city.
