Hagar
Now Sarai, Abram's wife, hadn't given him a child. But she had an Egyptian girl working for her called Hagar. And Sarai said to Abram: Look — the Lord's kept me from having children. Go in to my girl. Might be I'll get a family out of her. And Abram went along with what Sarai said. So Sarai, Abram's wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her servant, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. This was after Abram had been ten years in the land of Canaan. And he went in to Hagar and she fell pregnant. And once she knew it, she had no time at all for her mistress. And Sarai said to Abram: This wrong is on you. I put my servant in your arms, and when she saw she was pregnant, she despised me. Let the Lord judge between you and me. But Abram said to Sarai: Your servant is in your hands. Do with her as you think best. And Sarai dealt harshly with her, so she fled from her.

And he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw she'd conceived, she looked down on her mistress. And Sarai said to Abram: The wrong done to me is on you. I gave my servant into your arms. And when she saw she'd conceived, I was looked down on in her eyes. Let the Lord judge between me and you. But Abram said to Sarai: Look — your servant is in your hand. Do to her what pleases you. And when Sarai dealt hard with her, she ran off from her.

And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes. And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee. But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
And Sarai said to Abram: This wrong is on you. I put my servant in your arms, and when she saw she was pregnant, she despised me. Let the Lord judge between you and me.

And he said: Hagar, Sarai's girl — where have you come from, and where are you off to? And she said: I've run from my mistress Sarai. And the angel of the Lord said to her: Go back to your mistress and put yourself under her hand. And the angel of the Lord said to her: I'll multiply your offspring so far they can't be counted. And the angel of the Lord said to her: Look — you're pregnant, and you'll have a son. Call him Ishmael, because the Lord has heard how hard you've had it. And he will be a wild man. His hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him, and he will live in the presence of all his brothers. And she gave a name to the Lord who'd spoken to her: You're the God who sees me. Because she said: Have I really looked here on the one who sees me? That's why the well is called Beerlahairoi. It's there between Kadesh and Bered. And Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram named the son Hagar bore Ishmael. And Abram was eighty-six when Hagar had Ishmael to him.

And she said: I'm running from the face of Sarai my mistress. And the angel of the Lord said to her: Go back to your mistress and put yourself under her hands. And the angel of the Lord said to her: I'll make your offspring so many that they can't be counted for number. And the angel of the Lord said to her: Look — you're pregnant and you'll have a son. And you'll call his name Ishmael, because the Lord has heard your trouble. And he'll be a wild man. His hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him. And he'll live in front of all his brothers. And she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her: You're the God who sees me. Because she said: Have I looked here too after him who sees me? That's why the well was called Beer Lahai Roi. Look — it's between Kadesh and Bered. And Hagar had Abram a son. And Abram called his son's name, that Hagar had, Ishmael. And Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar had Ishmael to Abram.

And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me? Wherefore the well was called Beerlahairoi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered. And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son’s name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael. And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.

And the angel of the Lord said to her: Look — you're pregnant, and you'll have a son. Call him Ishmael, because the Lord has heard how hard you've had it.
And the angel of the Lord said to her: Look — you're pregnant and you'll have a son. And you'll call his name Ishmael, because the Lord has heard your trouble.
And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
And he will be a wild man. His hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him, and he will live in the presence of all his brothers.

And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?
That's why the well is called Beerlahairoi. It's there between Kadesh and Bered.

Wherefore the well was called Beerlahairoi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.
And Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram named the son Hagar bore Ishmael.
And Hagar had Abram a son. And Abram called his son's name, that Hagar had, Ishmael.
And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son’s name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.
And Abram was eighty-six when Hagar had Ishmael to him.
And Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar had Ishmael to Abram.
And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.
