Not by bread alone
Be careful to do every commandment I command you today, so you may live, multiply, go in and possess the land the Lord swore to your fathers. Remember all the way the Lord your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and prove you, to know what was in your heart — whether you would keep his commandments or not. He humbled you, let you hunger and fed you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers knew, so you would know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Your clothes did not wear out on you, and your foot did not swell, these forty years. Consider it in your heart: as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you. So keep the commandments of the Lord your God, follow his ways and fear him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land — a land of brooks of water, fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills, a land of wheat and barley, vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey, a land where you'll eat bread without scarcity and lack nothing, a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you may dig bronze. When you have eaten and are full, bless the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.
You'll watch that you do every order I'm ordering you today, so you live and grow to be many and go in and own the land the Lord swore to your fathers. Because the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of springs and deep waters that come out in the valleys and hills — a land of wheat and barley and vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey — a land where you'll eat bread without going short, where you won't lack a thing, a land whose stones are iron and where you can dig copper out of the hills. When you've eaten and had your fill, then you'll bless the Lord your God for the good land he's given you.

Don't forget the Lord
Watch yourself, so you do not forget the Lord your God by failing to keep his commandments, judgments and rules that I command you today. Otherwise, when you have eaten and are full, built good houses and lived in them, and your herds and flocks multiply, your silver and gold multiply, and everything you have multiplies, your heart may become proud and you may forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery. He led you through that great and terrible wilderness, with fiery serpents, scorpions and drought, where there was no water, and brought water for you out of the rock of flint. He fed you in the wilderness with manna your fathers did not know, to humble you and prove you, so he might do you good in the end. Do not say in your heart, 'My power and the might of my own hand have got me this wealth.' Remember the Lord your God, because it is he who gives you power to get wealth, so he may establish the covenant he swore to your fathers, as it is this day. If you forget the Lord your God, go after other gods, serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you'll surely perish. Like the nations the Lord destroys before you, so you'll perish, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God.
Watch yourself, so you don't forget the Lord your God by not keeping his orders and his judgments and his rules that I'm ordering you today — in case when you've eaten and had your fill and built good houses and lived in them, and your herds and your flocks have grown, and your silver and your gold have grown, and everything you've got has grown — then your heart is lifted up and you forget the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slaves, who led you through that big and terrifying wilderness with its fiery snakes and scorpions and its drought, where there was no water, who brought you water out of the rock of flint, who fed you in the wilderness with manna that your fathers didn't know — to bring you low and to test you, so it'd go well for you in the end. And you say in your heart: My strength and the power of my hand have got me all this. But you'll remember the Lord your God, because he's the one who gives you the strength to get things, so he can set up his covenant that he swore to your fathers, the way it is today. And if you ever forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you'll be completely wrecked. Like the nations the Lord wrecks in front of you, that's how you'll be wrecked — because you wouldn't listen to the voice of the Lord your God.
Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. your heart may become proud and you may forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery.
