But the fearful and unbelieving and disgusting, and murderers and sexually immoral people and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, will have their part in the lake burning with fire and burning sulphur, which is the second death.

The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolyte, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprasus, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. And I saw no temple in it, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and the Lamb is its light. And the nations of those who are saved will walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honour into it.
