The fool has said in his heart, There's no God. They've become corrupt. They've done disgusting things. There's nobody doing good. The LORD looked down from heaven on the people to see if there were any who understood and sought God. Every one of them has turned aside. They've all gone off together. There's nobody doing good, not even one. Don't they know anything, all these evildoers who eat my people like they're eating bread and don't call on the LORD? That's where they were terrified, because God is with the generation of the righteous. You have shamed the counsel of the poor, but the LORD is his refuge. If only Israel's salvation would come out of Zion. When the LORD brings his people back from where they've been taken, Jacob will rejoice and Israel will be glad.
