How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long do I have to take advice from my own soul and have grief in my heart every day? How long will my enemy be lifted up over me? Consider me and answer me, LORD my God. Enlighten my eyes, or I'll sleep the sleep of death. Or my enemy will say, I've beaten him, and my enemies will rejoice when I'm moved. But I've trusted in your mercy. My heart will rejoice in your salvation.
