Two ways
Blessed is the man who doesn't follow the counsel of the wicked, stand in the path of sinners, or sit among those who mock. His delight is in the law of the LORD, and he turns it over in his mind day and night. He's like a tree planted beside rivers of water, bearing fruit in its season. Its leaf doesn't wither, and whatever he does prospers. The wicked aren't like that. They're like chaff blown away by the wind. So the wicked won't stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
Happy is the man who doesn't walk in the advice of the wicked or stand about in the way of sinners or sit down with the ones who sneer. His delight is in the teaching of the Lord, and he thinks his teaching over day and night. He'll be like a tree planted by streams of water, that gives its fruit in its season and whose leaf doesn't wither. And whatever he does will go well. The wicked aren't like that. They're like chaff that the wind blows away. So the wicked won't stand up in the judgment, and sinners won't stand in the gathering of the righteous. Because the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will be finished.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
