Celebrate in the Lord
So then, my brothers, dearly loved and longed for, my joy and my crown — stand firm in the Lord like that, my dear friends. I am asking Euodias, and I am asking Syntyche, to be of the same mind in the Lord. And I am asking you too, my true partner, give those women a hand. They worked alongside me in the gospel, with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. Be glad in the Lord always. I will say it again: be glad. Let everyone see that you are reasonable people. The Lord is near. Don't be anxious about anything. In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, put your requests to God. And the peace of God, which is beyond all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is well thought of — if there is anything excellent, anything worth praise, think about these things. Whatever you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do it. And the God of peace will be with you.

Content in every state
I was very glad in the Lord that at last you have been able to show your care for me again. You were thinking of me all along — you just didn't get the chance. I am not saying this because I am short. I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be down to nothing, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of it, anywhere and in everything — full or hungry, plenty or going without. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. All the same, it was good of you to share in my trouble. And you Philippians know yourselves that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you. Even when I was in Thessalonica you sent me help more than once when I needed it. It isn't that I am after a gift. What I am after is the fruit that builds up your account. I have been paid in full, and more. I am well supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus what you sent — a fragrant offering, a sacrifice God accepts and is pleased with. And my God will supply everything you need, according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Say hello to every saint in Christ Jesus. Because I've learned, in whatever state I am, to be content with that. I know both how to be brought low, and I know how to have plenty. Still you've done well that you shared with me in my trouble. Even when I was in Thessalonica you sent me help more than once when I needed it.
Because even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to what I needed.
For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
It isn't that I am after a gift. What I am after is the fruit that builds up your account.
Not that I want a gift. But I want fruit that can grow to your account.
Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
