Euodia and Syntyche
So then, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and my crown — stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends. I'm asking Euodia and I'm asking Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. Yes, and I'm asking you, my true companion, to help these women, because they've fought at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.

Don't tie yourself in knots
Be glad in the Lord always. I'll say it again: be glad. Let your gentleness be obvious to everyone. The Lord is near. Don't tie yourself in knots over anything. Whatever it is, take it to God — ask Him straight, and say thanks while you're at it. And the peace of God, which is beyond understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or worth praising — think about these things. Whatever you've learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

The secret of being content
I'm very glad in the Lord that at last you've renewed your concern for me. You were concerned, but you had no chance to show it. I'm not saying this because I'm in need, because I've learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be short, and I know what it is to have plenty. I've learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or going without. I can do all this through Him who gives me strength. Still, it was good of you to share in my troubles.

Because even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me help more than once when I was in need. Not that I'm after a gift, but I'm after what may be credited to your account. I've received full payment and more. I'm well supplied, now that I've received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They're a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
