The camps by banner
The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron: Every man of the Israelites will camp by his own banner, with the sign of his father's house. They will camp some distance away around the tent of meeting. And on the east side towards the sunrise, the banner of the camp of Judah will camp through their divisions. And Nahshon son of Amminadab will be the leader of the sons of Judah. And his division, those counted of them, were seventy-four thousand six hundred. And those camping beside him will be the tribe of Issachar. And Nethaneel son of Zuar will be the leader of the sons of Issachar. And his division, those counted of it, were fifty-four thousand four hundred. Then the tribe of Zebulun. And Eliab son of Helon will be the leader of the sons of Zebulun. And his division, those counted of it, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred. All those counted in the camp of Judah were a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred, through their divisions. They will move on first. On the south side will be the banner of the camp of Reuben through their divisions. And the leader of the sons of Reuben will be Elizur son of Shedeur. And his division, those counted of it, were forty-six thousand five hundred. And those camping beside him will be the tribe of Simeon. And the leader of the sons of Simeon will be Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai. And his division, those counted of them, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred. Then the tribe of Gad. And the leader of the sons of Gad will be Eliasaph son of Reuel. And his division, those counted of them, were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty. All those counted in the camp of Reuben were a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty, through their divisions. They will move on second. Then the tent of meeting will move on with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps. As they camp, that is how they will move on, every man in his place by their banners.

And his division, those counted of them, were thirty-five thousand four hundred. All those counted in the camp of Ephraim were a hundred and eight thousand one hundred, through their divisions. They will go third. The banner of the camp of Dan will be on the north side through their divisions. And the leader of the sons of Dan will be Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai. And his division, those counted of them, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred. And those camping beside him will be the tribe of Asher. And the leader of the sons of Asher will be Pagiel son of Ocran. And his division, those counted of them, were forty-one thousand five hundred. Then the tribe of Naphtali. And the leader of the sons of Naphtali will be Ahira son of Enan. And his division, those counted of them, were fifty-three thousand four hundred. All those counted in the camp of Dan were a hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred. They will go last with their banners. These are those counted of the Israelites by their fathers' houses.
