You eat the flesh of my people
And I said: Listen, you heads of Jacob, you rulers of the people of Israel. Isn't it your job to know what justice is? You hate the good and love the evil. You tear the skin off my people and the flesh off their bones. You eat my people's flesh, strip off their skin, break their bones and chop them up like meat for the pot, like flesh in a cauldron. Then they will cry out to the Lord, and he won't answer them. He will hide his face from them at that time, because of the evil they have done. This is what the Lord says about the prophets who lead my people astray: if a man puts something in their teeth, they cry Peace. But if he doesn't fill their mouths, they get up a war against him. So night will come on you, and no vision. Darkness will come on you, and no divining. The sun will go down on the prophets and the day will go dark over them. The seers will be ashamed and the diviners disappointed. They will all cover their lips, because there is no answer from God. But as for me, I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, and of justice and might, to tell Jacob his rebellion and Israel his sin. Listen to this, you heads of the house of Jacob, you rulers of the people of Israel, who can't stand justice and twist everything straight into crooked. You build up Zion with blood and Jerusalem with wrongdoing. Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a fee, and her prophets divine for money. And still they lean on the Lord and say, Isn't the Lord among us? No evil can come on us. So because of you, Zion will be ploughed like a field, Jerusalem will become heaps, and the mountain of the house will become like the high places of the forest.
And I said: Listen now, you heads of Jacob and you rulers of the house of Israel. Isn't it for you to know what's right? But you hate the good and love the evil. You pull their skin off them and their flesh off their bones. You eat the flesh of my people and strip their skin off them and break their bones and chop them up like meat for the pot, like flesh in the middle of the cauldron. Then they'll cry out to the Lord, and he won't hear them. He'll even hide his face from them at that time, because of the evil they've done. This is what the Lord says about the prophets who lead my people astray, who bite with their teeth and call out Peace — and whoever doesn't put something in their mouths, they get ready for war against him. So it'll be night to you and no vision, and dark to you and no fortune-telling. And the sun will go down on the prophets, and the day will go dark over them. Then the seers will be ashamed and the fortune-tellers will be let down. Yes, they'll all cover their lips, because there's no answer from God. But I'm truly full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, and of judgment and might, to tell Jacob his rebellion and Israel his sin. Listen now to this, you heads of the house of Jacob and you rulers of the house of Israel, who loathe judgment and twist everything straight. They build up Zion with blood and Jerusalem with wickedness. Her heads judge for a bribe, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets tell fortunes for money. And they lean on the Lord and say: Isn't the Lord among us? No trouble will come on us. So because of you, Zion will be ploughed like a field, and Jerusalem will be heaps of rubble, and the mountain of the house like the high places of a forest.
And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment? Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings. Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him. Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God. But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us. Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.

But you hate the good and love the evil. You pull their skin off them and their flesh off their bones.
Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
You eat my people's flesh, strip off their skin, break their bones and chop them up like meat for the pot, like flesh in a cauldron.
