They work out evil on their beds
Trouble is coming to those who lie in bed working out how to do wrong. When morning comes they get on with it, because they have got the power to. They fancy a field and take it. They fancy houses and grab them. They stand over a man and his household, a man and his inheritance. So this is what the Lord says: Look, I am planning trouble against this family, and you won't get your necks out of it. You won't walk proudly, because it is an evil time. On that day people will take up a saying against you and mourn with a bitter lament: We are utterly spoiled. He has changed the share of my people. How he has taken it from me! Turning away, he has divided our fields. So you will have nobody in the assembly of the Lord to measure out land by lot. Do not prophesy, they say to those who prophesy. They won't prophesy to them, so shame won't overtake them. Should it be said, house of Jacob: Is the Spirit of the Lord constrained? Are these his doings? Don't my words do good to the one who walks uprightly? But lately my people have risen up like an enemy. You pull the robe and garment off those who pass by securely, like men who want nothing to do with war. You turn the women of my people out of their comfortable homes. From their children you take away my glory for good. Get up and leave. This is not your resting place, because it is polluted. It will destroy you, and the destruction will be severe. If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies and says, I will prophesy to you of wine and strong drink, he will be just the prophet for this people.
Trouble is coming to the ones who think up wrongdoing and work out evil on their beds. When the morning comes they do it, because it's in the power of their hand. And they want fields and take them by force, and houses, and carry them off. So they crush a man and his house, a man and what he's inherited. So this is what the Lord says: Look — I'm planning trouble against this family that you won't get your necks out of. And you won't walk about proudly, because it's a bad time. On that day someone will take up a saying against you and wail a bitter wail and say: We're completely wrecked. He's changed the share of my people. How he's taken it off me. He's divided our fields to the ones who turned away from us. So you won't have anyone to stretch the measuring line by lot in the gathering of the Lord. Don't prophesy, they say. They shouldn't prophesy to them, so the shame doesn't come. House of Jacob, should it be said that the Spirit of the Lord is short-tempered? Are these the things he does? Don't my words do good to the one who walks straight? But lately my people have got up like an enemy. You pull the robe off with the coat from the ones going past safely, like men turning back from war. You've thrown the women of my people out of their good houses. You've taken my glory off their children forever. Get up and go, because this isn't your rest. It's polluted, and it'll wreck you with a bad wrecking. If a man walking in wind and lies tells lies and says, I'll prophesy to you about wine and strong drink — he'd be the prophet for this people.
Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand. And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil. In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields. Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD. Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame. O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly? Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war. The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever. Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction. If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.

I'll gather you
I will surely gather all of you, Jacob. I will surely bring together the survivors of Israel. I will put them together like the sheep of Bozrah, like a flock in the middle of its fold, and the place will be noisy with people. The one who breaks open the way will go up before them. They will break through the gate and go out by it. Their king will pass through before them, with the Lord at their head.
I'll definitely gather all of you, Jacob. I'll definitely bring together what's left of Israel. I'll put them together like the sheep of Bozrah, like a flock in the middle of its fold. They'll make a great noise with all the people. The one who breaks through has gone up in front of them. They've broken through and gone past the gate and out of it. And their king will go on in front of them, and the Lord at the head of them.
I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men. The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
