The lamps and the bread

The Lord spoke to Moses: Order the Israelites to bring you pure oil from beaten olives for the light, to keep the lamps burning. Outside the curtain of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, Aaron will keep it in order before the Lord from evening till morning. It'll be a permanent rule through your generations. He'll keep the lamps in order on the pure lampstand before the Lord at all times. You will take fine flour and bake twelve cakes of it. Two tenths will be in one cake. You will set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure table before the Lord. You will put pure incense on each row, so it can be on the bread as a reminder, an offering made by fire to the Lord. Every Sabbath he'll set it in order before the Lord, supplied by the Israelites under an everlasting covenant. It will be Aaron's and his sons'. And they will eat it in the sanctuary, because it's most holy to him of the offerings of the Lord made by fire, as a permanent rule.

And the Lord spoke to Moses: Order the people of Israel to bring you pure oil of beaten olives for the light, to make the lamps burn all the time. Outside the curtain of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, Aaron will keep it in order from evening to morning in front of the Lord all the time. It'll be a rule forever through your generations. He'll keep the lamps in order on the pure lampstand in front of the Lord all the time. And you'll take fine flour and bake twelve cakes of it. Two tenths will be in one cake. And you'll set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure table in front of the Lord. And you'll put pure incense on each row, so it can be on the bread as a reminder, an offering made by fire to the Lord. Every sabbath he'll set it in order in front of the Lord all the time, from the people of Israel by an everlasting covenant. And it'll be Aaron's and his sons'. And they'll eat it in the holy place, because it's most holy to him of the offerings of the Lord made by fire, by a rule forever.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually. Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations. He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually. And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake. And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD. And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD. Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant. And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.

The man who cursed

Now the son of an Israelite woman, whose father was Egyptian, got into a fight in the camp with an Israelite man. The Israelite woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord and cursed, so they brought him to Moses. His mother was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, from the tribe of Dan. They kept him in custody until the Lord's will could be made clear to them. The Lord spoke to Moses: Take the one who cursed outside the camp. And let everyone who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let the whole gathering stone him. And speak to the Israelites: Whoever curses his God will carry his sin. And whoever speaks against the name of the Lord will surely be put to death. The whole gathering will stone him for sure. The stranger and the one born in the country will be put to death alike when he speaks against the name of the Lord. 'Anyone who kills another person must surely be put to death.' And whoever kills an animal will make it good — animal for animal. 'If anyone causes an injury to his neighbour, whatever he has done must be done to him:' 'breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he has injured another person, so it must be done to him.' And whoever kills an animal will make it good. And whoever kills a man will be put to death. 'You must have the same law for the stranger and for one of your own country. I am the Lord your God.' Moses spoke to the Israelites, so they brought out the one who'd cursed outside the camp and stoned him with stones. And the Israelites did what the Lord commanded Moses.

And the Israelite woman's son cursed the Name and swore. And they brought him to Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. And they put him in ward, so the mind of the Lord could be shown them. And the Lord spoke to Moses: Take the one who cursed outside the camp. And let everyone who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let the whole gathering stone him. And speak to the people of Israel: Whoever curses his God will carry his sin. And whoever speaks against the name of the Lord will be put to death for sure. The whole gathering will stone him for sure. The stranger and the one born in the country will be put to death alike when he speaks against the Name. And whoever kills any man will be put to death for sure. And whoever kills an animal will make it good — animal for animal. And if a man puts a fault in his neighbour, the way he's done, that's what'll be done to him — break for break, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin. And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.
