Don't do what they do
The Lord spoke to Moses: 'Speak to the Israelites and tell them: I am the Lord your God.' 'Do not live by the customs of Egypt, where you used to live, or by the customs of Canaan, where I am taking you. Do not walk in their rules.' 'Follow my judgments and keep my rules. Walk in them. It's wickedness. You must not take a wife along with her sister, to trouble her, uncovering her nakedness while the other is still alive. You must not come near a woman to uncover her nakedness while she's set apart for her impurity. You must not sleep with your neighbour's wife, to make yourself unclean with her. You must not let any of your offspring go through the fire to Molek, and you must not make the name of your God unholy. I am the Lord. 'You must not sleep with a man as with a woman. It is a disgusting thing.' 'You must not have sexual relations with any animal and defile yourself with it, and no woman is to stand before an animal to mate with it. It is confusion.'

Because whoever does any of these disgusting things — the souls who do them will be cut off from among their people. So you will keep what I keep, so you don't do any of these disgusting ways that were done before you, and don't make yourselves unclean with them. I am the Lord your God.
