The word to Baruch
The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch son of Neriah when he'd written these words in a book from Jeremiah's mouth, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah: This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to you, Baruch. You said: Trouble is coming to me, because the LORD has added grief to my pain. I'm worn out with my groaning and I don't find any rest. This is what you'll tell him. This is what the LORD says: Look: what I've built I'm pulling down, and what I've planted I'm pulling up — the whole of this land. “Do you seek great things for yourself? Don’t seek them.
