God has spoken by his Son

God spoke to our fathers long ago, at many times and in many ways, through the prophets. But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of everything, and through whom he made the worlds. The Son is the brightness of his glory and the exact stamp of his person, and he holds everything up by the word of his power. And when by himself he had made purification for our sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much greater than the angels as the name he has inherited is greater than theirs. Because to which of the angels did God ever say, You are my Son; today I have become your Father? Or again, I will be a Father to him, and he will be a Son to me? And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, Let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he says, He makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But of the Son he says, Your throne, God, is forever and ever. You rule your kingdom with righteousness. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. That is why God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your companions. And, In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain. They will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a cloak, and they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will never end. And to which of the angels did he ever say, Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet? Aren't they all ministering spirits, sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation?

God, who at different times and in different ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, who he's set heir of everything, who he made the worlds by too. Who being the brightness of his glory and the exact image of his person, and holding up everything by the word of his power, when he'd by himself cleaned our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Being made so much better than the angels, as he's got by inheritance a better name than they have. Because to which of the angels did he say at any time: You're my Son, today I've fathered you? And again: I'll be to him a Father, and he'll be to me a Son? And again, when he brings in the firstbegotten into the world, he says: And let all the angels of God bow down to him. And of the angels he says: Who makes his angels spirits and his servants a flame of fire. But to the Son he says: Your throne, God, is forever and ever. A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of your kingdom. You've loved righteousness and hated wrongdoing. So God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows. And: You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth. And the heavens are the works of your hands. They'll die, but you stay. And they'll all get old like a garment. And like a cloak you'll fold them up, and they'll be changed. But you're the same, and your years won't fail. But to which of the angels did he say at any time: Sit on my right hand, till I make the ones against you your footstool? Aren't they all serving spirits, sent out to serve for the ones who'll be heirs of salvation?

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
