And Abraham took another wife, called Keturah. And she bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah. And Jokshan had Sheba and Dedan. Esau was a skilled hunter, a man of the field, while Jacob was a quiet man who lived among the tents. And Isaac was partial to Esau, because he ate his game. But Rebekah's was Jacob. And Jacob had a stew on the boil. And Esau came in off the country, knocked up. And Esau said to Jacob: Give me some of that red stew — I am faint. That is why his name was called Edom. And Jacob said: Sell me your birthright first. And Esau said: Look, I'm about dead on my feet. What good's a birthright to me? And Jacob said: Swear it to me now. So he swore it to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew. And he ate and drank and got up and went off. That's what Esau thought his birthright was worth.
