The curtains and the boards
You'll make the tent with ten curtains of fine twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet, with cherubim of skilled work you'll make them. Each curtain will be twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide. All the curtains will be the same size. Five curtains will be joined to each other, and the other five curtains joined to each other. Make loops of blue along the edge of the outer curtain in one set, and do the same along the edge of the outer curtain in the second set. Make fifty loops on the first curtain and fifty on the edge of the curtain in the second set, with the loops opposite one another. You'll make fifty clasps of gold and join the curtains together with the clasps. And it'll be one tent. You'll make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering over the tent. You'll make eleven curtains. Each curtain will be thirty cubits long and four cubits wide. All eleven curtains will be the same size. You'll join five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves, and you'll double over the sixth curtain in the front of the tent. Make fifty loops along the edge of the outer curtain in the first set, and fifty along the joining edge of the second set. You'll make fifty clasps of bronze and put the clasps into the loops, and join the tent together so it's one. The extra part that's left over of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that's left, will hang over the back of the tent. You'll make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of fine leather. You'll make boards for the tent of acacia wood standing up. They'll be joined together below, and they'll be joined together above the head of it to one ring. It'll be like this for both of them. They'll be for the two corners. There'll be eight boards and their bases of silver, sixteen bases — two bases under one board and two bases under another board. You'll make bars of acacia wood, five for the boards of the one side of the tent, Make five bars for the boards on the other side of the tent, and five bars for the boards across the west end. The middle bar in the middle of the boards will reach from end to end. Overlay the boards with gold and make gold rings on them to hold the bars. Overlay the bars with gold as well. 'Set up the tent according to the pattern shown to you on the mountain.'

And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle. And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it. And their hooks will be of gold. And you'll cast five bases of bronze for them.
