Every spiritual blessing
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints at Ephesus and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace, which he has lavished on us in all wisdom and understanding, making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself, that in the fullness of time he might gather everything together in one in Christ, both what is in heaven and what is on earth — in him. In him we have also received an inheritance, marked out beforehand according to the purpose of the one who works everything by the counsel of his own will, so that we who first hoped in Christ should be to the praise of his glory. In him you also trusted, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. And when you believed, you were sealed in him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the deposit on our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of his glory.

Paul's prayer
So ever since I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I haven't stopped giving thanks for you, mentioning you in my prayers, asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, and that the eyes of your understanding would be opened, so you may know what the hope of his calling is, and the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and how surpassingly great his power is toward us who believe, according to the working of his mighty strength, which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above every rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but in the one to come. And he has put everything under his feet, and gave him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
