Preach the word
So I charge you, before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word. Be ready in season and out of season. Correct, rebuke and encourage, with all patience and teaching. Because the time is coming when people won't put up with sound teaching. They will gather up teachers to suit themselves, to scratch their itching ears. They will turn their ears away from the truth and go off after fables. But you — keep your head in everything. Put up with hardship. Do the work of an evangelist. See your ministry right through. As for me, I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my going is here.
