Now is the day of salvation
As workers together with him, then, we beg you not to receive the grace of God for nothing. Because he says, In an acceptable time I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. Look — now is the acceptable time. Now is the day of salvation. We put no stumbling block in anyone's way, so the ministry won't be blamed. In everything we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in great endurance, in sufferings, in hardships, in distresses, in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in hard work, in sleepless nights, in fastings; by purity, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by love that isn't put on; by the word of truth, by the power of God, with the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left; through honour and dishonour, through bad report and good report. Treated as liars, and yet true. As unknown, and yet well known. As dying, and look — we live. As punished, and yet not killed. As sorrowful, yet always glad. As poor, yet making many rich. As having nothing, and yet owning everything.

Don't be unequally yoked
Corinthians, we have spoken to you openly, and our heart is wide open. You aren't cramped by us. You are cramped by your own feelings. Now in fair exchange — I am speaking as to my children — open wide your hearts as well. Don't be yoked up unevenly with unbelievers. Because what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what does light share with darkness? And what agreement is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer share with an unbeliever? And what does the temple of God have to do with idols? Because you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people. So come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Don't touch the unclean thing, and I will receive you. And I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
You Corinthians, our mouth is open to you, our heart is made wide. You aren't held in by us, but you're held in by your own feelings. Now for a payment in the same kind (I speak as to my children), you be made wide too. Don't be unequally yoked together with the ones who don't believe. Because what fellowship has righteousness with wrongdoing? And what sharing has light with darkness? And what agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what part has the one who believes with one who doesn't believe? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? Because you're the temple of the living God. As God has said: I'll live in them and walk in them. And I'll be their God, and they'll be my people. So come out from among them and be set apart, says the Lord, and don't touch the unclean thing. And I'll take you in. And I'll be a Father to you, and you'll be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

So come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Don't touch the unclean thing, and I will receive you.

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
