Pray for all men
So first of all, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for everyone — for kings and everyone in authority, so we can live quiet and peaceful lives with full devotion to God and proper conduct. This is good, and it pleases God our Saviour, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. And for this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle — I am telling the truth, I am not lying — a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

Men and women
So I want men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or doubting. In the same way, I want the women to dress modestly, with decency and good sense — not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly clothes, but with good works, which is what suits women who profess to worship God. Let a woman learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over a man, but to be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and fell into wrongdoing. Still she will be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and love and holiness with sobriety.

The same way too, that women dress themselves in proper clothing, with modesty and good sense — not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing. But (which is fitting for women saying they're godly) with good works. Let the woman learn in quietness with all putting under. But I don't let a woman teach or take authority over the man, but to be in quietness. Because Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam wasn't taken in. But the woman being taken in was in the breaking of it. Still she'll be saved in childbearing, if they go on in faith and love and holiness with good sense.
