The flying scroll
Then I turned and looked up, and there was a scroll flying. And he said to me, What do you see? And I answered, I see a flying scroll, twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide. Then he said to me, This is the curse going out over the face of the whole earth. Everyone who steals will be cut off according to what is written on this side, and everyone who swears will be cut off according to what is written on that side. I will send it out, says the Lord Almighty, and it will go into the house of the thief and into the house of the man who swears falsely by my name. And it will stay in the middle of his house and eat it up, timber and stones and all.

I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

The woman in the basket

He also said, This is their resemblance through all the earth. And look, a talent of lead was lifted up, and there was a woman sitting in the middle of the ephah. And he said, This is Wickedness. And he threw her into the middle of the ephah, and threw the weight of lead over its mouth. Then I looked up and saw, and there came out two women with the wind in their wings. They had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted the ephah between the earth and heaven. Then I said to the angel who talked with me, Where are they taking the ephah? And he said to me, To build it a house in the land of Shinar. And when it is ready, it will be set down there on its own base.
Then the angel who talked with me went out and said to me: Lift up your eyes now and see what this is going out. And I said: What is it? And he said: This is a basket going out. And he said: This is what they look like through the whole earth. And look — a lead cover was lifted, and there was a woman sitting in the middle of the basket. And he said: This is wickedness. And he threw her into the middle of the basket and threw the lead weight over its mouth. Then I lifted my eyes and looked, and there were two women coming out with the wind in their wings. Because they had wings like a stork's wings. And they lifted the basket up between the earth and the sky. Then I said to the angel who talked with me: Where are they taking the basket? And he said to me: To build it a house in the land of Shinar. And when it's ready, it'll be set there on its own base.

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
Then I said to the angel who talked with me, Where are they taking the ephah?

Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?
And he said to me, To build it a house in the land of Shinar. And when it is ready, it will be set down there on its own base.
