The filthy clothes
And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the Lord said to Satan, The Lord rebuke you, Satan. Even the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you. Isn't this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes, standing before the angel. And the angel spoke to those standing in front of him and said, Take the filthy clothes off him. And to Joshua he said, Look — I have taken your guilt away from you, and I will dress you in fresh clothes. And I said, Let them set a fair turban on his head. So they set a fair turban on his head and dressed him, and the angel of the Lord stood by. And the angel of the Lord charged Joshua, saying, This is what the Lord Almighty says: If you follow my ways and keep my charge, then you will judge my house and keep my courts, and I will give you places to walk among those standing here. Listen now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows sitting before you, for they are men wondered at. Look, I will bring forth my servant the Branch. For look at the stone I have set before Joshua. On that one stone are seven eyes. I will engrave its engraving, says the Lord Almighty, and I will remove the wrongdoing of that land in one day. On that day, says the Lord Almighty, every man will call his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing in front of the angel of the Lord, with Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. And the Lord said to Satan: The Lord tell you off, Satan. The Lord who's chosen Jerusalem tell you off. Isn't this a stick pulled out of the fire? Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes, standing in front of the angel. And he answered and spoke to the ones standing in front of him: Take the filthy clothes off him. And to him he said: Look — I've made your wrongdoing go past you, and I'll dress you in good clothes. And I said: Let them set a clean turban on his head. So they set a clean turban on his head and dressed him in clothes. And the angel of the Lord stood by. And the angel of the Lord warned Joshua: This is what the Lord Almighty says: If you'll walk in my ways and keep what I keep, then you'll judge my house too and look after my courts, and I'll give you a place to walk among these standing here. Listen now, Joshua the high priest, you and your mates sitting in front of you — because they're men who are a sign. Because look — I'll bring out my servant the Branch. Because look — the stone I've set in front of Joshua. On one stone are seven eyes. Look — I'll cut its carving, says the Lord Almighty, and I'll take away the wrongdoing of that land in one day. On that day, says the Lord Almighty, every man will call his neighbour to come under the vine and under the fig tree.

And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by. And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by. Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
