The fool has said in his heart, There's no God. They've become corrupt and done disgusting wrongdoing. There's nobody doing good. God looked down from heaven on the people, to see if there was anyone with sense who looked for God. Every one of them has gone back. They've all become corrupt together. There's nobody doing good, not even one. Don't the evildoers know anything — those who eat my people like they're eating bread and haven't called on God? That's where they were terrified, when there was nothing to be terrified about. Because God has scattered the bones of the one encamped against you. You've shamed them, because God has thrown them off. Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob will rejoice and Israel will be glad.
