The Lord is my rock
I love you, Lord, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock that I trust in, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. I'll call on the LORD, who deserves the praise, and I'll be saved from my enemies. The cords of death wound around me, and the floods of ruin terrified me. The sorrows of hell surrounded me; the snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called on the LORD and cried out to my God. He heard my voice from his temple, and my cry came before him, right into his ears. Then the earth shook and rocked. The foundations of the hills moved and shook, because he was angry. Smoke went up out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth ate things up. Coals were set alight by it. He bent the heavens and came down, with thick darkness under his feet. He rode on a cherub and flew. He came swooping on the wings of the wind. He made darkness his hiding place, his shelter around him — dark waters and thick clouds of heaven. Out of the brightness before him his thick clouds went past, with hailstones and coals of fire. The LORD thundered in the heavens and the Most High let his voice go, with hailstones and coals of fire. He sent out his arrows and scattered them. He shot out bolts of lightning and routed them. Then the channels of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, LORD, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils. He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of great waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy and from those who hated me, because they were too strong for me. They confronted me on the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a wide place. He delivered me, because he was pleased with me.
I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and the one who gets me out, my God, my rock that I take shelter in, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. I'll call on the Lord, who deserves the praise, and I'll be saved from my enemies. The ropes of death wound round me, and the floods of ruin put the wind up me. The ropes of the grave were round me. The traps of death got in front of me. In my hard place I called on the Lord and cried out to my God. He heard my voice from his temple, and my cry came in front of him, right into his ears. Then the earth shook and rocked. The foundations of the hills shifted and shook, because he was angry. Smoke went up out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth ate things up. Coals were set alight by it. He bent the heavens and came down, with thick darkness under his feet. He rode on a cherub and flew. He came swooping on the wings of the wind. Out of the brightness in front of him his thick clouds went past, with hailstones and coals of fire. The Lord thundered in the heavens and the Most High let his voice go, with hailstones and coals of fire. He sent out his arrows and scattered them. He threw out plenty of lightning and put them in a spin. Then the channels of water showed and the foundations of the world were laid bare at your telling off, Lord, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils. He reached down from on high and took hold of me. He pulled me out of the great waters. He got me out from my strong enemy and from the ones who hated me, because they were too strong for me. They got in front of me on the day of my disaster, but the Lord was the one holding me up. He brought me out into a wide place. He got me out, because he was pleased with me.
I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire. The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire. Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them. Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
I love you, Lord, my strength.
I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock that I trust in, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

He trains my hands
The LORD paid me back according to my righteousness. He gave back to me according to the cleanness of my hands. Because I've kept the ways of the LORD and haven't turned wickedly from my God. Because all his judgments were before me, and I didn't put away his rules from me. I was blameless before him, and I kept myself from my own wrongdoing. So the LORD gave back to me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyes. With the merciful you show yourself merciful; with the upright man you show yourself upright. With the pure you show yourself pure, and with the twisted you show yourself sharp. Because you'll save the humble people and bring down the eyes that are set high. Because you'll light my lamp. The LORD my God will light up my darkness. Because with you I can charge a troop, and with my God I can jump a wall. As for God, his way is perfect. The word of the LORD is tested. He's a shield to everyone who trusts in him. Because who's God apart from the LORD? Who's a rock except our God? It's God who straps me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like a deer's and stands me up on my heights. He trains my hands for war, so my arms can break a bow of steel. You've given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand has sustained me, and your gentleness has made me great. You've broadened the path beneath me, so my feet did not slip.
The Lord paid me back according to my righteousness. He gave back to me according to the cleanness of my hands. Because I've kept the ways of the Lord and haven't turned wickedly from my God. Because all his judgments were in front of me, and I didn't push his rules away from me. I was whole in front of him, and I kept myself from my own wrongdoing. So the Lord gave back to me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in front of his eyes. With the faithful man you show yourself faithful. With the whole man you show yourself whole. As for God, his way is whole. The word of the Lord is tested. He's a shield to everyone who takes shelter in him. Because who's God apart from the Lord? Who's a rock except our God? It's God who straps me with strength and makes my way whole. He makes my feet like a deer's and stands me up on my heights. He trains my hands for the battle, so my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You've given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great. You've made a wide place for my steps under me, so my feet didn't slip.
The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me. I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity. Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight. With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward. For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks. For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places. He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
The LORD paid me back according to my righteousness. He gave back to me according to the cleanness of my hands.

Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
With the merciful you show yourself merciful; with the upright man you show yourself upright.
With the faithful man you show yourself faithful. With the whole man you show yourself whole.
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
With the pure you show yourself pure, and with the twisted you show yourself sharp.
With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
Because you'll save the humble people and bring down the eyes that are set high.
For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
Because you'll light my lamp. The LORD my God will light up my darkness.
Because you'll light my lamp. The Lord my God will light up my darkness.

He trains my hands for war, so my arms can break a bow of steel.

He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
You've given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand has sustained me, and your gentleness has made me great.
You've given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
You've broadened the path beneath me, so my feet did not slip.
You've made a wide place for my steps under me, so my feet didn't slip.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
The Lord lives
I chased my enemies and caught up with them. I didn't turn back until they were consumed. I ran them through so they couldn't rise. They fell under my feet. Because you strapped me with strength for the battle. You bent those who rose up against me under me. You've given me the necks of my enemies, so I could destroy those who hated me. They cried out and there was nobody to save them — to the LORD, and he didn't answer them. Then I beat them fine as dust before the wind; I cast them out like dirt in the streets. You've delivered me from the quarrelling of the people. You've made me the head of the nations. A people I didn't know will serve me. As soon as they hear of me, they'll obey me. Strangers will submit themselves to me. Foreigners will fade out and come trembling out of their strongholds. The LORD lives. Blessed be my rock. Let the God of my salvation be exalted. It is God who avenges me and subdues the peoples under me. He delivers me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me above those who rise up against me. You've delivered me from the violent man. So I'll praise you, LORD, among the nations, and sing praises to your name. He gives great salvation to his king and shows mercy to his anointed, to David and to his offspring forever.
I chased my enemies and caught up with them. I didn't turn back till they were finished. I ran them through so they couldn't get up. They fell under my feet. Because you strapped me with strength for the battle. You bent the ones who got up against me under me. You've given me the necks of my enemies, so I could finish off the ones who hated me. They cried out and there was nobody to save them — to the Lord, and he didn't answer them. Then I ground them small as dust in front of the wind. I tipped them out like mud in the streets. You've got me out from the quarrelling of the people. You've made me the head of the nations. A people I didn't know will serve me. As soon as they hear about me they'll listen to me. Foreigners will cringe in front of me. Foreigners will fade out and come shaking out of their strongholds. The Lord lives. Blessed be my rock. Let the God of my salvation be lifted high. It's God who settles up for me and brings peoples down under me. He gets me out from my enemies. Yes, you lift me above the ones who get up against me. You've got me out from the violent man. So I'll thank you, Lord, among the nations, and sing praise to your name. He gives great salvation to his king and shows faithful love to his anointed, to David and to his offspring forever.
I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed. I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet. For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me. They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not. Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets. Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me. As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me. The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places. The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
