Remember David
LORD, remember David and all his sufferings — how he swore to the LORD and vowed to the mighty God of Jacob: I won't go into my house or climb into my bed. I won't give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids until I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling place for the mighty God of Jacob.' Look — we heard of it at Ephratah; we found it in the fields of the wood. We'll go into his tents; we'll worship at his footstool. Arise, LORD, into your rest — you, and the ark of your strength. Let your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let your saints shout for joy. For the sake of David your servant, don't turn away the face of your anointed.

The Lord has chosen Zion
The LORD has sworn in truth to David and won't turn from it: 'I'll set the fruit of your body on your throne. If your children keep my covenant and the testimony I teach them, their children will sit on your throne forever too.' For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling place. 'This is my rest forever. Here I'll live, because I've desired it. I'll abundantly bless her provision; I'll satisfy her poor with bread. I'll clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints will shout aloud for joy. There I'll make the horn of David bud; I've ordained a lamp for my anointed. I'll clothe his enemies with shame, but on him his crown will flourish.'
