Psalms 122

I was glad when they said to me, 'Let's go to the house of the LORD.' Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem. Jerusalem is built as a city joined firmly together, where the tribes go up — the tribes of the LORD — according to the testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.

I was glad when they said

I was glad when they said to me, 'Let's go to the house of the LORD.' Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem. Jerusalem is built as a city joined firmly together, where the tribes go up — the tribes of the LORD — according to the testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD. For thrones of judgment are set there, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper. Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces. For the sake of my brothers and companions I'll now say, 'Peace be within you.' Because of the house of the LORD our God, I'll seek your good.

I was glad when they said to me: Let's go to the house of the Lord. Our feet are standing inside your gates, Jerusalem. Jerusalem is built like a town joined tight together — where the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, as a testimony to Israel, to thank the name of the Lord. Because that's where the thrones of judgment are set, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May the ones who love you do well. Let there be peace inside your walls, and doing well inside your palaces. For the sake of my brothers and my mates, I'll say now: Peace be inside you. For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I'll look for your good.

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together: Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
