Psalms 116

I love the LORD, because he's heard my voice and my pleas. Because he's turned his ear to me, I'll call on him as long as I live. The sorrows of death surrounded me, and the pains of hell took hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the LORD: Lord, please, deliver my soul.

I love the Lord

I love the LORD, because he's heard my voice and my pleas. Because he's turned his ear to me, I'll call on him as long as I live. The sorrows of death surrounded me, and the pains of hell took hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the LORD: Lord, please, deliver my soul. The LORD is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is full of mercy. The LORD keeps the simple. I was brought low, and he helped me. Return to your rest, my soul, because the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. Because you've delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears and my feet from falling. I'll walk before the LORD in the land of the living. I believed, and so I spoke; I was greatly afflicted. I said in my hurry: Every man's a liar. What can I give back to the LORD for everything he's done for me? I'll take the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD. I'll pay my vows to the LORD now, before all his people. The death of his faithful ones is precious in the eyes of the LORD. LORD, I am truly your servant; I am your servant, the son of your female servant. You have loosed my bonds. I'll bring you the sacrifice of thanks and call on the name of the LORD. I'll pay my vows to the LORD now, before all his people, in the courts of the LORD's house, within you, Jerusalem. Praise the LORD.

I love the Lord, because he's heard my voice and my pleading. Because he's turned his ear to me, I'll call on him as long as I live. The ropes of death wound round me, and the hard places of the grave got hold of me. I found trouble and grief. Then I called on the name of the Lord: Lord, please, get my soul out. The Lord is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is full of mercy. The Lord keeps the simple. I was brought low, and he helped me. Come back to your rest, my soul, because the Lord has dealt well with you. Because you've got my soul out from death, my eyes from tears and my feet from falling. I'll walk in front of the Lord in the land of the living. I believed, so I spoke. I was afflicted badly. I said in my hurry: Every man's a liar. What can I give back to the Lord for everything he's done for me? I'll take the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord. I'll pay my vows to the Lord now, in front of all his people. The death of his faithful ones is precious in the eyes of the Lord. Lord, I'm your servant, no question. I'm your servant, the son of your servant woman. You've undone my chains. I'll bring you the sacrifice of thanks and call on the name of the Lord. I'll pay my vows to the Lord now, in front of all his people, in the courts of the Lord's house, right in the middle of you, Jerusalem. Praise the Lord.

I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: I said in my haste, All men are liars. What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds. I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people, In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
