Bless the LORD, my soul, and everything within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits: who forgives all your wrongdoings and heals all your diseases, He redeems your life from destruction and crowns you with faithful love and tender mercies. who satisfies your mouth with good things, so your youth is renewed like the eagle's. The LORD executes righteousness and judgment for all who are oppressed. He made his ways known to Moses, his acts to the Israelites. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in mercy. He won't always contend with us, and he won't keep his anger forever. He hasn't dealt with us according to our sins or rewarded us according to our wrongdoings. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy towards those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, that's how far he has removed our wrongdoings from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.

As far as the east is from the west, that's how far he's put our rebellions from us. The way a father feels for his children, that's how the Lord feels for the ones who fear him. Because he knows what we're made of. He remembers we're dust.
