And she sent and called Barak son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said to him, Hasn't the LORD God of Israel commanded you: Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take ten thousand men of Naphtali and Zebulun with you? And I will draw Sisera, the commander of Jabin's army, to you at the river Kishon, with his chariots and his troops. And I will give him into your hand. And Barak said to her, If you go with me, I will go. But if you won't go with me, I won't go. And she said, I will certainly go with you. But the way you are going about it, the honour won't be yours — because the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh. And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh, and ten thousand men went up at his heels. And Deborah went up with him. Now Heber the Kenite, one of the children of Hobab, Moses' father-in-law, had separated from the Kenites and pitched his tent by the plain of Zaanaim, near Kedesh. And they told Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor. So Sisera called out all his chariots, nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the men with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles to the river Kishon. And Deborah said to Barak, Up. This is the day the Lord has given Sisera into your hand. Hasn't the Lord gone out ahead of you? So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men behind him. And the Lord threw Sisera and all his chariots and all his army into confusion before Barak's sword. And Sisera got down off his chariot and fled on foot. But Barak went after the chariots and the army as far as Harosheth of the Gentiles, and the whole of Sisera's army fell by the sword. Not a man was left.

So Sisera got down off his chariot and ran away on foot. But Barak chased the chariots and the army as far as Harosheth of the nations. And the whole army of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword. Not a man was left.

And Jael went out to meet Sisera and said to him, Turn in, my lord. Turn in to me. Don't be afraid. So he turned in to her tent, and she covered him with a rug. And he said to her, Give me a little water to drink, because I am thirsty. So she opened a skin of milk and gave him a drink, and covered him again. And he said to her, Stand at the door of the tent. And if any man comes and asks you, Is there anyone here? — say No. Then Jael, Heber's wife, took a tent peg and a hammer in her hand, and went quietly to him and drove the peg through his temple into the ground. He was fast asleep and worn out. And he died. And as Barak came past, chasing Sisera, Jael came out to meet him and said, Come, and I will show you the man you are after. And he came into her tent, and there was Sisera lying dead, with the peg through his temple. So God brought down Jabin king of Canaan that day before the Israelites. And the hand of the Israelites pressed harder and harder against Jabin king of Canaan, until they had destroyed him.
But Sisera ran away on foot to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite. Because there was peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite. So he died. And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples. So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel. And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.

So God brought down Jabin king of Canaan that day before the Israelites.
So on that day God brought Jabin king of Canaan down in front of the people of Israel.
So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel.
And the hand of the Israelites pressed harder and harder against Jabin king of Canaan, until they had destroyed him.
And the hand of the people of Israel got harder and harder against Jabin king of Canaan, till they'd wrecked Jabin king of Canaan.
And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
