Job answers
The LORD answered Job: "Will the one who contends with the Almighty instruct him? Let the one who reproves God answer it." Then Job answered the LORD: "I am vile. What can I answer you? I put my hand over my mouth. Once I have spoken, but I will not answer; yes, twice, but I will go no further."
And the Lord answered Job: Will the one who argues with the Almighty set him straight? The one who tells God off, let him answer it. Then Job answered the Lord: Look — I'm nothing. What'll I answer you? I'll put my hand on my mouth. I've spoken once, but I won't answer. Yes, twice, but I won't go on.

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind: "Brace yourself like a man. I will question you, and you will answer me. Will you make my judgment void? Will you condemn me so that you may be righteous? Do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like his? Deck yourself now with majesty and excellence; array yourself with glory and beauty. Cast abroad the rage of your anger; look upon everyone who is proud and bring him low. Look on everyone who is proud and bring him low; tread down the wicked in their place. Hide them in the dust together and bind their faces in secret. Then I too will confess to you that your own right hand can save you. Now look at behemoth, which I made along with you. He eats grass like an ox. His strength is in his hips, and his force is in the muscles of his belly. He moves his tail like a cedar; the sinews between his legs are tightly knit. His bones are as strong pieces of bronze; his bones are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God. The one who made him can make his sword approach him. Surely the mountains bring him food, where all the beasts of the field play. He lies under the shady trees, in the covert of the reeds and fens. The shady trees cover him with their shadow, and the willows of the brook surround him. Even if a river surges, he does not panic. He is confident even if Jordan rushes against his mouth. He takes it with his eyes; his nose pierces through snares."
Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind: Strap yourself up like a man now. I'll ask you, and you tell me. Will you make my judgment worth nothing? Will you condemn me so you can be right? Have you got an arm like God? Or can you thunder with a voice like his? Dress yourself now with greatness and height, and dress yourself with glory and beauty. Throw out the fury of your anger. And look at everyone who's proud and bring him low. Look at everyone who's proud and pull him down. And tread down the wicked where they stand. Hide them in the dust together, and tie their faces up in secret. Then I'll own up to you too, that your own right hand can save you. Look now at the behemoth that I made with you.
