Then Bezaleel and Aholiab, together with every skilled craftsman whom the Lord had given wisdom and understanding, set to work on everything required for the service of the sanctuary, exactly as the Lord had commanded. They took from Moses all the offering the Israelites had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it with. And they still brought him freewill offerings every morning. All the wise men who did all the work of the sanctuary came, every man from the work he was doing. They told Moses, 'The people are bringing far more than we need to do the work the Lord commanded.' So Moses gave an order and had a proclamation made throughout the camp: 'No man or woman is to make anything else for the offering to the sanctuary.' The people were stopped from bringing more. What they already had was enough for all the work — more than enough.

He made blue loops along the edge of the outer curtain in one set, and did the same along the edge of the outer curtain in the second set. He made fifty loops on one curtain and fifty on the joining edge of the other set, with the loops opposite one another. He made fifty clasps of gold and joined the curtains to each other with the clasps. So it was one tent. He made curtains of goats' hair for the covering over the tent. He made eleven curtains. Each curtain was thirty cubits long and four cubits wide. All eleven curtains were the same size. He joined five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves. He made fifty loops along the edge of the outer curtain in the first set and fifty along the joining edge of the second set. He made fifty clasps of bronze to join the tent together, so it'd be one. He made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of fine leather above. He made boards for the tent of acacia wood standing up. The length of a board was ten cubits, and the width of a board a cubit and a half. Each board had two tenons fitted parallel to one another. He made all the boards of the tent this way. He made boards for the tent, twenty boards for the south side southward. He made forty bases of silver under the twenty boards — two bases under one board for its two tenons, and two bases under another board for its two tenons. And for the other side of the tent, on the north corner, he made twenty boards, And their forty bases of silver — two bases under one board and two bases under another board. And for the sides of the tent westward he made six boards. He made two boards for the two rear corners of the tent. They were joined at the bottom and fitted together at the top into a single ring. He did the same for both rear corners. There were eight boards, and their bases were sixteen bases of silver, under every board two bases. He made bars of acacia wood — five for the boards of the one side of the tent, And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tent, and five bars for the boards of the tent for the sides westward. He made the middle bar to go through the boards from one end to the other. He overlaid the boards with gold, made gold rings on them to hold the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold. He made a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet and fine twisted linen. He made it with cherubim of skilled work. He made four pillars of acacia wood for it and covered them with gold. Their hooks were of gold, and he cast four bases of silver for them. He made a screen for the door of the tent, of blue, purple and scarlet and fine twisted linen, needlework, And its five pillars with their hooks. And he covered their tops and their bands with gold. But their five bases were of bronze.
