Your eyes have seen
So love the Lord your God and keep his charge, his rules, his judgments and his commandments always. And know today — because I'm not speaking to your children who haven't known and haven't seen the setting straight of the Lord your God, his greatness, his mighty hand and his outstretched arm, And his signs and what he did in the middle of Egypt to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his whole land, And what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and their chariots — how he made the water of the Red Sea flow over them as they chased you, and the Lord destroyed them to this day, And what he did for you in the wilderness till you came to this place, And what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab son of Reuben — how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households and their tents and everything alive that belonged to them, in the middle of all Israel. But your eyes have seen all the great works of the Lord that he did. So keep every commandment I command you today, so you may be strong, go in and possess the land you are crossing over to possess, And so you prolong your days in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give them and their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey. Because the land you're going in to possess isn't like the land of Egypt you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot like a vegetable garden. But the land you're crossing over to possess is a land of hills and valleys that drinks water from the rain of the sky — A land the Lord your God looks after. The eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the start of the year right to the end of the year.
So love the Lord your God and keep what he keeps, and his rules and his judgments and his orders, always. And know today — because I'm not speaking to your children who haven't known and haven't seen the setting straight of the Lord your God, his greatness, his strong hand and his outstretched arm, and his signs and what he did in the middle of Egypt to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his whole land, and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and their chariots — how he made the water of the Red Sea flow over them as they chased you, and the Lord wrecked them right up to this day, and what he did for you in the wilderness till you came to this place, and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab son of Reuben — how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households and their tents and everything alive that belonged to them, in the middle of all Israel. But your eyes have seen all the great works of the Lord that he did. So keep every order I'm ordering you today, so you're strong and go in and own the land you're going over to own — and so you make your days long in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give them and their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey. Because the land you're going in to own isn't like the land of Egypt you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot like a vegetable garden. But the land you're going over to own is a land of hills and valleys that drinks water from the rain of the sky — a land the Lord your God looks after. The eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the start of the year right to the end of the year.
Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway. And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm, And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land; And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day; And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came into this place; And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel: But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did. Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it; And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey. For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs: But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
So love the Lord your God and keep his charge, his rules, his judgments and his commandments always.
So love the Lord your God and keep what he keeps, and his rules and his judgments and his orders, always.
Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.
And know today — because I'm not speaking to your children who haven't known and haven't seen the setting straight of the Lord your God, his greatness, his mighty hand and his outstretched arm,
And know today — because I'm not speaking to your children who haven't known and haven't seen the setting straight of the Lord your God, his greatness, his strong hand and his outstretched arm,

and his signs and what he did in the middle of Egypt to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his whole land,

And what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and their chariots — how he made the water of the Red Sea flow over them as they chased you, and the Lord destroyed them to this day,
and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and their chariots — how he made the water of the Red Sea flow over them as they chased you, and the Lord wrecked them right up to this day,
And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;
And what he did for you in the wilderness till you came to this place,
and what he did for you in the wilderness till you came to this place,
And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came into this place;
And what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab son of Reuben — how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households and their tents and everything alive that belonged to them, in the middle of all Israel.
and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab son of Reuben — how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households and their tents and everything alive that belonged to them, in the middle of all Israel.
And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:
But your eyes have seen all the great works of the Lord that he did.
But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.
So keep every commandment I command you today, so you may be strong, go in and possess the land you are crossing over to possess,
So keep every order I'm ordering you today, so you're strong and go in and own the land you're going over to own —
Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;
And so you prolong your days in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give them and their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey.
and so you make your days long in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give them and their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey.
And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
Because the land you're going in to possess isn't like the land of Egypt you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot like a vegetable garden.
Because the land you're going in to own isn't like the land of Egypt you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot like a vegetable garden.
For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs:
But the land you're crossing over to possess is a land of hills and valleys that drinks water from the rain of the sky —
But the land you're going over to own is a land of hills and valleys that drinks water from the rain of the sky —
But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:
A land the Lord your God looks after. The eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the start of the year right to the end of the year.
a land the Lord your God looks after. The eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the start of the year right to the end of the year.
A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
Rain in its season
If you listen diligently to my commandments that I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart and all your soul, then I will give you the rain of your land in its season, the first rain and the latter rain, so you may gather in your grain, wine and oil. And I'll send grass in your fields for your cattle, so you eat and have your fill. Watch yourselves, so your heart is not deceived and you turn aside, serve other gods and worship them. And the anger of the Lord burns against you, and he shuts up the sky so there's no rain and the land doesn't give its harvest, and you're perish quickly from off the good land the Lord is giving you. So take these words of mine to heart. Tie them on your hand as a sign, and wear them like a band on your forehead. Teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you rise up. And write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates — So your days and the days of your children are made many in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the sky over the earth.
And if you listen carefully to my orders that I'm ordering you today, to love the Lord your God and serve him with your whole heart and your whole soul — then I'll give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the late rain, so you gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil. And I'll send grass in your fields for your cattle, so you eat and have your fill. Watch yourselves, so your heart isn't taken in and you turn aside and serve other gods and bow down to them — and the anger of the Lord burns against you, and he shuts up the sky so there's no rain and the land doesn't give its harvest, and you're finished quickly off the good land the Lord is giving you. So lay these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and tie them on your hand as a sign, and they'll be like a band between your eyes. And teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. And write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates — so your days and the days of your children are made many in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the sky over the earth.
And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; And then the LORD’s wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you. Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
If you listen diligently to my commandments that I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart and all your soul,
And if you listen carefully to my orders that I'm ordering you today, to love the Lord your God and serve him with your whole heart and your whole soul —
And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
then I will give you the rain of your land in its season, the first rain and the latter rain, so you may gather in your grain, wine and oil.
then I'll give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the late rain, so you gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil.
That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.
And I'll send grass in your fields for your cattle, so you eat and have your fill.
And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.
Watch yourselves, so your heart is not deceived and you turn aside, serve other gods and worship them.
Watch yourselves, so your heart isn't taken in and you turn aside and serve other gods and bow down to them —
Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
And the anger of the Lord burns against you, and he shuts up the sky so there's no rain and the land doesn't give its harvest, and you're perish quickly from off the good land the Lord is giving you.
and the anger of the Lord burns against you, and he shuts up the sky so there's no rain and the land doesn't give its harvest, and you're finished quickly off the good land the Lord is giving you.
And then the LORD’s wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.
So take these words of mine to heart. Tie them on your hand as a sign, and wear them like a band on your forehead.
So lay these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and tie them on your hand as a sign, and they'll be like a band between your eyes.
Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
Teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you rise up.
And teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
And write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates —
And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
So your days and the days of your children are made many in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the sky over the earth.
so your days and the days of your children are made many in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the sky over the earth.
That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
A blessing and a curse
For if you diligently keep all these commandments I command you to do — to love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways and stick close to him — Then the Lord will cast out all these nations before you, and you'll drive out nations bigger and stronger than you. Every place the sole of your foot walks on will be yours. Your border will be from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, right to the western sea. Nobody will be able to stand before you. The Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you on all the land you walk on, as he said to you. Look, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse: a blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today; and a curse, if you will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way I command you today and go after other gods you have not known. When the Lord your God has brought you into the land you're going in to possess, you'll put the blessing on mount Gerizim and the curse on mount Ebal. Aren't they beyond the Jordan, by the way where the sun goes down, in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah opposite Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh? Because you're crossing the Jordan to go in and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you. And you'll possess it and live in it. You'll be careful to do all the rules and judgments I'm setting before you today.
Because if you keep all these orders carefully that I'm ordering you, to do them — to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways and to stick to him — then the Lord will throw out all these nations in front of you, and you'll drive out nations bigger and stronger than you. Every place the sole of your foot walks on will be yours. Your border will be from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, right to the sea at the back. Nobody will be able to stand in front of you. The Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you on all the land you walk on, the way he's said to you. Look — I'm setting in front of you today a blessing and a curse — the blessing if you listen to the orders of the Lord your God that I'm ordering you today, and the curse if you won't listen to the orders of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way I'm ordering you today, to go after other gods you haven't known. And when the Lord your God has brought you into the land you're going in to own, you'll put the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal. Aren't they on the other side of the Jordan, by the way where the sun goes down, in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah opposite Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh? Because you're going over the Jordan to go in and own the land the Lord your God is giving you. And you'll own it and live in it. And you'll watch that you do all the rules and the judgments I'm setting in front of you today.
For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you. Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal. Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh? For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein. And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.
For if you diligently keep all these commandments I command you to do — to love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways and stick close to him —
Because if you keep all these orders carefully that I'm ordering you, to do them — to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways and to stick to him —
For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

Nobody will be able to stand before you. The Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you on all the land you walk on, as he said to you.
Nobody will be able to stand in front of you. The Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you on all the land you walk on, the way he's said to you.
There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.
Look, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:
Look — I'm setting in front of you today a blessing and a curse —
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
a blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today;
the blessing if you listen to the orders of the Lord your God that I'm ordering you today,
A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
and a curse, if you will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way I command you today and go after other gods you have not known.
and the curse if you won't listen to the orders of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way I'm ordering you today, to go after other gods you haven't known.
And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
When the Lord your God has brought you into the land you're going in to possess, you'll put the blessing on mount Gerizim and the curse on mount Ebal.
And when the Lord your God has brought you into the land you're going in to own, you'll put the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal.
And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

Because you're crossing the Jordan to go in and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you. And you'll possess it and live in it.
Because you're going over the Jordan to go in and own the land the Lord your God is giving you. And you'll own it and live in it.
For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.
You'll be careful to do all the rules and judgments I'm setting before you today.
And you'll watch that you do all the rules and the judgments I'm setting in front of you today.
