Jehoshaphat made strong
Jehoshaphat his son ruled in his place and strengthened himself against Israel. He put forces in all the fortified cities of Judah and set garrisons in the land of Judah and in the cities of Ephraim that Asa his father had taken. The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of David his father and didn't look for the Baals, But looked for the God of his father and walked in his orders, and not after the doings of Israel. The Lord made the kingdom firm in his hand. And all Judah brought Jehoshaphat gifts, and he had riches and honour in abundance. His heart was lifted up in the ways of the Lord. What's more, he took away the worship shrines and the pagan worship poles out of Judah. In the third year of his rule he sent his leaders — Ben-Hail and Obadiah and Zechariah and Nethaneel and Micaiah — to teach in the cities of Judah. With them the Levites — Shemaiah and Nethaniah and Zebadiah and Asahel and Shemiramoth and Jehonathan and Adonijah and Tobijah and Tob-Adonijah, Levites. And with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests. They taught in Judah and had the book of the teaching of the Lord with them, and went about through all the cities of Judah and taught the people. The fear of the Lord fell on all the kingdoms of the lands round Judah, so they didn't make war against Jehoshaphat. Some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat gifts and tribute silver. And the Arabs brought him flocks — seven thousand seven hundred rams and seven thousand seven hundred male goats. Jehoshaphat grew great and great. And he built castles in Judah and store cities. He had abundant business in the cities of Judah. And the men of war, strong brave men, were in Jerusalem.

What's more, he took away the high places and the sacred poles out of Judah. And in the third year of his rule he sent his leaders — Ben-Hail and Obadiah and Zechariah and Nethanel and Micaiah — to teach in the towns of Judah. And with them the Levites — Shemaiah and Nethaniah and Zebadiah and Asahel and Shemiramoth and Jehonathan and Adonijah and Tobijah and Tob-Adonijah, Levites. And he had plenty of business in the towns of Judah. And the men of war, strong men of valour, were in Jerusalem.
And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Israel. And he placed forces in all the fenced cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken. And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim; But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel. Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance. And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah. Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even to Benhail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah. And with them he sent Levites, even Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests.
