The word of Azariah
The Spirit of God came on Azariah son of Oded. He went out to meet Asa and said: Listen to me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you while you're with him. They swore to the Lord with a loud voice and with shouting and with trumpets and with horns. All Judah celebrated over the oath. Because they'd sworn with all their heart and looked for him with their whole wish. And he was found by them. And the Lord gave them rest all around. King Asa took away Maachah his mother too from being queen mother, because she'd made an idol in a grove. And Asa cut down her idol and stamped on it and burnt it at the brook Kidron. But the worship shrines weren't taken away out of Israel. But the heart of Asa was whole all his days. He brought into the temple of God the things his father had set apart and that he himself had set apart — silver and gold and vessels. There was no more war right to the thirty-fifth year of the rule of Asa.

But the high places were not taken away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days. And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels. And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.
